Our 25 minute wait was reduced to 15 minutes so we were impressed right off. We got chargrilled oysters for an appetizer and they were delicious. But then we sat there for nearly 45 minutes waiting on our meals. I had the crab and shrimp angel hair and it was amazing, but the hubby didn't care much for the surf and turf. I tried it and agreed it was very bland. Our girls enjoyed the alfredo and fried shrimp from the kids menu. Would've given it a 5 had it not taken so long, but we were there an hour and 20 minutes.
Fabulous food and great service! Will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

My fiancé and I stayed in Hattiesburg last night, and discovered this cool restaurant just a few minutes away from our hotel. I'm coeliac, and we often find it difficult to get a decent gluten free meal for me on the road. We were delighted to find that Crescent City had quite a few great options! Crescent City is a tradition for my husband and I after Christmas shopping. The food is AMAZING!! So sad to see the Fried Green Tomato and Crabmeat BLT wasn't on the menu this time. I look forward to many more tasty dishes!!!
If you're ever in Hattiesburg, MS, even if you're just passing through, stop and eat at this restaurant, everything is delicious and the service was outstanding.

My wife and I recently moved from Hattiesburg to Waco so I could attend Baylor. I don't regret the move at all, but the fact that there is no Crescent City Grill is almost unforgivable. This place is the gem of Hattiesburg dining--reasonable, consistently top quality, and always delicious. We used to live right across the street, I'd make runs for poboys and crabmeat wontons (so good my vegan wife can't resist them).
