Great food awesome atmosphere and wonderful staff!
First time going. I got surf and turf grits and wife the Salmon entree. Wife got food first. Mine 10 minutes after.I had one bite and couldn't keep eating. Tasted like a bowl of cooking oil. We paid and tipped but had my entree removed. Sent a message expecting sincere apologies. No reply.

Emily, you actually did speak with a manager on the night of your meal, so the statement here is a bit misleading. The Surf and Turf and Grits in your photo was over 1/2 eaten, and was still removed from your bill. The butter, which is part of the richness and flavor of the dish, by nature will separate a bit, and is meant to be stirred in and enjoyed as you eat. If you don't like spicy seafood, STAY AWAY! If you do then game on. Unfortunately I had a very hard time since every item on the menu either had peppers or some kind of fishy sauce. I'd like a little more variety but my dining companion loved his blackens catfish.
Been eating there since the early 1990's never had a bad meal. Great all around environment and great food!

Poor waiter he served me the worst meal I have ever been served hands down. One that had I ate I may have killed my baby and one that when I looked at it I wasnt sure if it was vomit or food. I am five months pregnant and this restaurant had the nerve to serve me smelly rotten crab in their Seafood Crepe and then subsitute it with a pathetic attempt at BBQ Shrimp Grits. I won't be revisitng and in college I love it I even use to work there. Even the Sensation Salad wasn't what it use to be.
Spouse and I shared a cup of Gumbo as good as I've ever had, a Caesar Salad, cold and crunchy and a fried shrimp po-boy. Delicious and with two drinks still under $35. Delightful! Great Menu with many, many choices!
