awesome food and neat atmosphere! very welcomed in Lansing.
Had a terrific lunch here on Tues.The service was wonderful, the food was outstanding, and I have a new favorite restaurant. I can't wait to have brunch, and then dinner here, so I can enjoy all of the menu options.
This restaurant is comfortable, the service is impeccable, and the food when it is "on" is among the top 10 restaurants I've ever experienced. But the food is just not as consistent as it could be. Can you get all of the food to come out the same level of done-ness, no matter who is in the kitchen? Seems like when my meal is over-cooked it is always when Chef Dan is not in the kitchen. I ask! But even on an "off" meal, The Creole is still amazing.
Jalepeno Bacon was fantastic! Biscuits and gravy were great too!

Absolutely amazing restaurant! My wife and I went here for a date and loved every minute of it. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the food was to die for!!
I grew up in Chicago with a vast variety of cuisines at every corner. Creole is the most exciting, interesting and tasty cuisine that I have experienced in the Lansing area since moving here 20 years ago. The gooseberry salad was the best and shared by 4 of our guests. My dish which was the scallops, topped with crabmeat and served on a puréed bed of potatoes mixed wth currants and capors was delightful! This is my new best place in the entire region.
Food was great but the service wasn't good. It took a long time to get drinks and I had to send my food back to be warmed up. I had the asparagus benedict and it tasted good when I got it back. Please work on the service
Highly recommend!! We ate at creole yesterday...It was so delicious we came back for a second round today! Pork belly Benedict with spicy onion marmalade the hollandaise was to die!
