I just had 2 patio doors, one sliding window, and a triple double hung window installed on a remodel with a cost of around $8000. I pretty much bought the top line of there products. Absolutely horrible. The sliding doors almost need two people to open, the sliding window is the same. The double hungs don't open much better. The paint job that I paid extra for is horrible. I have no idea how this company stays in business. Absolutely garbage. Stay away from jeld wen.

For the house we are building we Special ordered Jeld Wen windows. We are happy with most of them however we are discovering some serious cosmetic defects. On a few of the windows the simulated divided lights are cut wrong and do not line up. Some are off my at least a 1/2". I do not know how they were allowed to leave the factory. They look ridiculous and we paid too much money to settle for defective craftsmanship. Now we will be forced to uninstall them and wait for new ones to be made and delivered. Beware! I ordered a very expensive, special order sliding door. It came damaged and I can't get them to look at it or honor the warranty. It's been a terrible experience and their customer service is rude. Don't order their product, you're wasting your money. The grids were not glued to the door and too short, it's horrendous.

WARNING: All my Jeld-Wen windows in my basement leak and have caused permanent water damage. Jeld-Wen has refused to honour the warranty terms. These windows are less than three year's old. They are low quality and clearly do not provide an air-tight seal. Even the City inspector commented that these windows are notorious for leaking and recommended I contact the builder. I submitted a claim against the windows and they are insisting I pay $194.25 inspection fee in advance despite their warranty which states, "If your warran... read more

I had dual pane doors and windows from Jeld-Wen installed in two apartments November and December, 2019. They were not installed properly, not on time, and with parts including screen doors missing. The Pelletier company disclaimed any responsiblility, claiming they were not a licensed contractor, and still have not supplied the missing parts, two months later. Expensive mistake.******* no stars

Our patio door was installed in the fall and by winter we had moisture and mold building up in the window of the door. They claim its our house or installation but our other windows and doors do not do this, our contractor insists its the door not our home or installation. I'm allergic to mold and any mold is never a good situation. Had this door been installed years ago I would never reach out to the company but only a few months after installation and we had issues. Jeld-Wen customer service is the worst ever!!!!!!! I've been dealing with then for months to get a warranty issue resolved. The shipping was a disaster as the door panel had to be delivered by a semi trailer. We live in a cul-de-sac so the truck wouldn't go down our street (couldn't turn around.) We tried to get them to have it delivered in a regular old box truck. There was no need to use a semi for this product. They refused and their shipper told us that they would leave it at the end of the block and that my wife and I c... read more

Jeld Wen is a poor choice to use for doors. We ordered a pantry door with glass panel, pre-paid at time we placed order at *****s. We have waited 6 Weeks to get the door, it came in wrong. Not 1 time but 2, the third time we waited 6 weeks and were told it will be another 3-4 weeks for delivery. ***** Isn't any better to deal with. I would highly recommend going with a different supplier and manufacturing company.

I purchased a Jeld-Wen slider from ********** with the blinds in the glass the lock on the slider has already broke. I had to purchase the lock through **********. Purchase the lock November 15th they said I'd have it the day before Thanksgiving now they're looking at the 12th of December four weeks for a lock When jeld Wen is only 5 miles from my home that's kind of ridiculous
