best salon in Reno! I had a huge hair disaster right before my 21st birthday; I literally left the salon crying because my hair was basically black when I had asked for a rich red/brown. Anyway, I called Creative Colours to make an appointment with Shirley and she turned out to be a lifesaver. By far BEST stylist I’ve ever had!!! She is a hair genius. Trust me

Shirley & bryna rock I just had moved up to Reno from CA in July of this year. Finding a new place in a new town is uncomfortable for anyone who has to make this change. A few weeks after moving here I needed my hair done and I searched Yelp and had found the Spa and Hair Salon. I called up and THANK GOD Shirley from the Salon answered. WOW! Best of Reno Find, Great Hair stylist I LOVE MY New DO! I have lived in Reno since 1996 and HAD been using the same hair dresser for 13 years. He has done a nice job (I thought), but over the years my cuts were not consistently good cuts each visit. I’d come to expect a week or more grow out period before I was content. Great people! My hair needed a lot of corrective color to go from black cherry to blonde because I had used so dark color in it on my own, but Tamara at Creative Colors did it with ease. She came up with some custom formulations for corrective color and I am extremely pleased with the result. My hair came out a perfect warm blonde and still looks super healthy. Simply the BEST! I have lived in Reno for over a year and have gone to five different salons promising to give me a great hair cut. Each one failed. Then I randomly choose Creative Colours and found my hair stylist for LIFE! Without exaggerating they have the best everything. Looking for a new salon - Try Creative Colours! Switched to Creative Colours Salon about 4 months ago and I LOVE it. Shirley has been doing my hair and she is excellent. She actually listens to what you want, make suggestions on what she thinks would look good and does it. Everyone is very friendly and the salon is super cute!

awesome colors and cuts...a bit spendy, but worth it! The staff is very friendly and skilled. The job they did on my hair color might be the best I've ever had done. The dyes are rich in color, look natural, and don't fade for a long time. I was very happy with the final product. The price, on the other hand, was pretty high. I paid about $135 ($5 or -) for a haircut and color. I Highly Reccomend Creative Colours Tamara at Creative Colours has been my hairdresser for 8 years. I have long layered haired and she is the only person I let touch it. I live in Incline Village up at the lake and I make the drive to Reno just to see her. In the 8 years she has been styling my hair I have only allowed my hair to be cut by one other person because I was on a trip; upon my return Tamara knew someone else had cut my hair.
