I absolutely love this store. The owner is fun to talk to, knows his stuff, and maintains an amazing selection of pens, pencils, and pretty much anything you need.
When all independent art supply stores in Chapel Hill closed their doors, Alan took it upon himself to provide a variety of art supplies - and he's conveniently located right around the corner!
This place is a treasure for the state! Alan has practically everything needed for the office be it home or workplace. The other thing is if you are a pen connoisseur his selection of upscale fountain pens, regular pens, and pencils cannot be beaten. His paper selection if possibly the best in the US. Then top it all off with a person who truly cares for every one of his customers. Wonderful guy and business!
Alan was so patient with me as I shopped for my very first fountain pen. With his expert help; I selected a Pilot "Vanishing Point". I could not be more pleased. Owning a fine fountain pen is a dream come true! Thank you Alan!
