About this business
We are a locally owned business that have been serving Austin and surrounding areas since June of 2007 at our original location. This is our second location, which we opened in February of 2014 to serve our south Austin customers. We have our own house blend cajun seasonings and recipes that has just the right amount of kick and flavor. Our seasonings come in mild, medium, spicy, or extra extra spicy for all of our seafood boils. Worst meal ever. Waited over 30 minutes for a dried out, overcooked ribeye. Rest of shrimp meals were luke warm. Salad had wilted brown lettuce and green tomatos. Service was lackadaisical with only about 1/3 restaurant full. The hostess acted like it was a chore to take us to the table. If I could post without leaving any star, I would. Awesome food, great service, and the bar Rocks!!!!
I love the seasoning in the bottom of the crawfish bowl. The crawfish are pricey but they are good sized and the flavor is amazing. The clams are delicious too.
The crawfish is freakin amazing!!!!! I have not had any other restaurants come close to Crawfish Shack! I may need to go again next week.
The service was great as were the crab legs and crawfish. The margaritas and shrimp Diablo leave room for improvement, next time I'll stick to beer. Overall very pleased with our visit.
