We had a wonderful Saturday lunch at Crawdads on the Lake and will definitely be back. When I made the reservation, I requested a table with a view, and the hostess had thoughtfully reserved one of the best spots on the covered patio. It gave us a beautiful view of Folsom Lake while the cooling misters kept everyone comfortable. My friends and I had been to this restaurant once before and had a nice experience. For that reason, we decided to celebrate my friend’s birthday there last night. I chose Crawdads on the Lake to celebrate my birthday with friends, expecting a nice evening. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing because of the way we were treated by the staff. The food was also disappointing- our wings arrived cold, and some items we ordered never came. The service was even worse. Crawdads on the Lake was a great experience! The food was delicious, the service was fast and friendly, and the lake views made it even better. It's a perfect spot to relax, enjoy a meal, and take in the beautiful scenery. We'll definitely be back!
Chicken and steak kabobs were delicious and sitting outside with the view of the lake was wonderful.
