love this place!! one of the best i've been to in houston! you gotta try their cheetah roll!! it's a must! and service was excellent!!!
Shady Practices – Before my last visit to Crave I would have had a positive review of this place - the food is creative and the atmosphere is pleasant. Unfortunately the management at this place warrants a negative review. My friend had given me a gift certificate for $30 to this restaurant and so I took my brother there to celebrate his graduation. Gotta try the Cheetah roll! – Located in midtown, you might just miss it if you weren't looking for it. The night we visited, it was not too crowded even thought it was 8pm on a Saturday night. I've heard that this is more of a happy hour place, so I'll have to check it out. Of all of the sushi places, I have dined at in Houston, I would rank this one in the top 5. Crave This! – Crave Sushi is the best sushi in Houston hands down. Thats why they won "Ultimate Sushi" from the Houston Chronicle! Chef Robert is a young mastermind. Also, the owner gives back to the community. To Tim down below, you sounds a little racist. Maybe you don't belong in midtown. You should go back to the woods where you feel more comfortable. You know Houston is melting pot! This place is great! don't listen to the Haters...Crave Sushi doesn't tell you....it SHOWS you!!!!
Don't Waste Time, $$$, or Gas – The restaurant was very trendy and contemporary with modern decor. However, the specialty sushi rolls were not up to par...especially for their outrageous prices, ranging from $13-$20 per roll. I ordered 3 different rolls and they were way below average in taste. In addition, the waitress was not friendly, our food took forever, and I was handed dirty silverware.
Owner is a prick – Left HH and owner parked in a handicap parking space and replied when asked "this is my lot", too bad!

Great food and great service – We went there Saturday night to celebrate my husband's birthday. I had called the restaurant to make a reservation. I did not know they were not open yet. I looked online to see the hours of operation and as I was doing so, THEY called me back (they had just opened). My new favorite sushi spot! – I have been to Crave twice and will keep coming back! Great cocktail menu and you have to try their spicy edamame and famous Cheetah and Double Oh-7 roll. The service is great and if you sign up for their email list you get a coupon for $20 off a $50 tab!!! Thanks Crave for giving me a new place to keep coming back to!
