We received a Christmas gift, an Epicurean Black large cutting board, on January 21, 2026 that was purchased on December 26, 2025. We attempted to return in on February 20, 2026 as it did not fit in any of our cabinets. C&B will not return it for store credit as they have a 30 day return policy. We do not control the timing of receiving a gift and there was no obvious notification of return limits... in the small print found the 30 days on the gift receipt... which by their 30 days expired within five days of receiving the g... read more
The glassware experienced color fading due to a known product issue. Although it was outside the return policy, I was disappointed the store would not stand behind an expensive product. I expected better support given the quality and price point
Will never ever buy furniture here again. My wife and I bought a $3700 couch here, thinking we could keep the couch for many years, since we were buying something nice. They claim to sell a “premium” product under the guise of service and quality. In reality their service is poor and the quality is no better than a bargain furniture stores. Great selection of everything! Easy to see and touch.
This review is not about any local Crate & Barrel store or in-store employees. It is specifically about corporate customer support and how it is staffed and run. Crate & Barrel clearly does not care about either its employees or its customers if this is the level of understaffing and disorganization they are willing to tolerate across their customer support org.
