Gas Fumes Problem Gone After much research, found many others had problem and not just Mercedes. Some of the actions were profound - new tank etc. My research said emission system would catch problem even if just a pin prick but the test was not performed if gas tank more than 85% full. That meant problem was outside tank, probably in the two-way valve or sending unit just above the tank and there was access by removing back seat. Craig's concurred and estimated price.
