So excited to have a good optometrist here in Hendersonville, NC! Friendly staff, very helpful and great eye doctor!
Went in for an 11:20 AM appointment. At 11:45 I asked how much longer it would be, I was told "about" 15 minutes. I agreed to wait the 15 minutes. At approximately 12:05 PM I was called in and was told that the refraction I came in for would cost $40.00, I asked how much longer it would take and was told that it would be "another" 40 minutes before I could see the doctor. So my 11:20 AM appointment was going to be 12:45 PM. Not acceptable.
Every single time I go in for an eye exam, emergency eye issue (corneal abrasion), new glasses, Dr. Poole spends intense time explaining everything in depth. This dr has an immense grasp of the hugely complicated issues involving the eyes and everything that impacts and involves the eye(s). My cataracts were caught early and watched carefully. My genetic macular degeneration is very closely monitored. The medications I take for other issues have been explained to me on how they impact my vision. I really have never encounter... read more
