Happy but disappointed. I really like the practice in general, the only thing I didn't like about my visit is I felt tricked into purchasing the eye-map scan. The digital mapping of my eyes, that my insurance doesn't cover. They informed me the Doctor would talk to my about it when he came in the room. The only thing he asked me was if i had any questions about it, in which I replied "No'. Then when I paid for the visit, that $27.00 was added on. Vision Source will take great care of your Eyes! I have been to many Optometrist over the years, but after I found Dr Schacherer, I will be with him for the duration of my life. He is patient, (and my eyes are extremely sensitive), professional, explains everything he will be doing, and explains in lay person's terms what the changes are with my eyes. I was a difficult patient- HE is a wonderful eye-doctor! I am a real wimp when it comes to my eyes. I do not like anyone around my eyes. Unless, it is Dr. Schacherer. The first time I saw him, I actually hit his arm out of the way when he tried to put drops in my eyes. I felt terrible about it, but he just laughed it off. He found a way to put the drops in that did not cause me any anxiety. Now, he has a special camera that allows him to look at my eye health without having to use the drops. I can see. I have been using vision source for a number of years now. In fact, they are the only vision care provider I have ever used. They give you fast, friendly knowledgeable service. I feel very comfortable putting my eyes in their very capable hands.
