He refused to stage my mother's breast cancer. Kept asking me if she was hr positive or negative. Said she needed different chemo. Called about when to come in for changed chemo. He went on vacation, said she could wait for 2 weeks till he got back. I actually started sitting a tape recorder on the counter so I could play it back for him next time he asked me her diagnosis. Horrible physician, ditsy and impatient with his patients and staff alike. Had I not been a medical professional, myself, and had other medical experts in my corner, my dad would have likely been dead right now; this dude kept treating my dad for months with anemia-directed interventions - oral iron, iron infusions, hematopoetin etc, meanwhile my dad's blood counts are only getting worse and his kidneys are failing, and he is in tremendous pain. If I could leave-5 stars I would. He Walked in after yelling at his nurses and cursing. (Mind you this is my first impression of him) spent less than 60 seconds with me and didn't even want to hear what was going on and why I was reffered. Instead said I'm too young to have these issues and sent me on my way. The office staff is so sweet. I feel so bad for them. They didn't even seem shocked when i said I will not be making a follow up appointment
Doc Deligdish is intense, he doesn't waste your time. Gets right to the point, gives you a care plan and out the door. Definitely knows his craft. A pleasure to have him as my hematologist.
Dr. Deligdish is very knowledgeable. He is very straight-forward. He is very upbeat but serious when appropriate. His staff is friendly and helpful! Very pleased!! Highly recommend him.
