Dr Silverton is an amazing physician and a genuine nice person. My brother is a very medically complicated patient and we had a hard time finding anyone to help him with a total knee replacement. My brother had just about given up hope of ever being able to walk again. Dr Silverton was referred to us by another highly respected orthopedic surgeon, so we knew he must be the best. I was told Dr. Silverton was the best and was excited to finally be relieved from my pain. But he dismissed me and relied on old X-rays. He took 2 steps into the room and with horrible bedside manners said, “who referred you, do you know what I do? I reviewed your X-rays and you need to see sports medicine, no further investigation “. Then charged my insurance and I’m out of pocket $400. I still took his advice, went to sports medicine, wasted over. $5000 to later be told let’s get an MRI. Dr. Silverton is a wonderful dr. He's kind and caring all in one. Knows what he's doing and does it 100%. Explains everything to you in detail. I would recommend him to everyone that is in need of a orthopedic dr. He's the best.
Dr Silverton performed my first hip replacement in 2009. He did an excellent job. It healed well and everything and to this day Aug 2021 still no problem.
