Had a torn bicep tendon and rotator cuff and the University recommended I have Dr. Morgan perform my surgery instead of the surgeon associated with the University since he was a shoulder specialist. Left before I woke up from surgery and walked right past my parents. Went in for my post op appointment letting him know I was still in pain. He spent about 2 minutes with me, lifted my arm while I winced in pain and said "you're healed" and left. Never even wrote me a script for PT and I was never able to play volleyball again. ... read more

The doctor has terrible bedside manner. Each visit was about 3 minutes of his time. No explanation just see nurse to schedule surgery. Came in room didn’t even remember what arm he did surgery on. I had to tell him. Never spoke to me or my husband after surgery to say how it went. 7 months later cannot lift my arm again without pain. Not going back!

I saw him for each of 3 visits , initial , post mri, and a week after surgery. Total time about 3 minutes. 2 were to remove stitches. Did not explain what was wrong pre op or post op. That absolute worst. His office is wallpapers with his articles and superstar surgeries. What hubris. I has to call an world class Dr. to ask what my MRI meant. I wouldn't let Morgan operate on a cadever.

Dr. Morgan spent less than two minutes examining my mother postoperatively. She was experiencing a lot of pain, and instead of listening to her concerns, he walked in with a diagnosis, shot her with steroids, and sent her on her way. He is extremely unprofessional, showed no compassion, and I would say it is time for him to retire. He has zero bedside manner, and I would never recommend him to anyone. There are many great orthopedic surgeons in this area, I don’t know how this man is still in practice. The staff on the other... read more

I was expecting that Dr Morgan will spend more time explaining about my rotator cuff tear. Total time he spent talking to me was 2 mins. All he told me that I need surgery and talk to secretary to arrange. He was not prepared to listen to me. Very disappointed.

He completely missed damage to my shoulder during shoulder surgery. Seven months later a 4th dislocation, while laying on stomach resting head on arms. Surgery, different surgeon, had a rotator cuff tear, not new, was on older MRI. He missed it.

He surgically repaired my son's torn labrum very successfully. The surgery and subsequent physical therapy worked as we had hoped. My son continues to play college football without any problem.

Has an established past but he hardly spends any time in the room examining and rarely ever takes the time to answer any of your questions... literally was responding to me as he walked down the hall to the next exam room. Had elbow pain and he insisted my problem was my shoulder... months later I found out I had a torn UCL the entire time. I'd go elsewhere to a surgeon that is more personable and gives you trust in your treatment protocol. Not a good experience with Dr. Morgan.

II saw Dr. Craig D. Morgan on 03/30/2017 for an extreme pain in my left knee. Dr.Morgan showed up in the examination room smelling of strong cigarette smoke. Without warning Dr.Morgan pressed firmly on my left knee causing my pain level to increase to a maximum level. He told me that I had a torn meniscus and instructed me to talk to his assistant to schedule a future surgery. Dr.Morgan was in the examination room for approximately three minutes and never offered any solution to my pain.
