I was not ready to hear how bad my knees were. He was very informative, direct, knowledgeable and confident with his presentation of the Xray results. He also fully explained my choices and allowed me to decide the next step, filling out therapy orders. Dr. Assenmacher encouraged me to let him know, after physical therapy, how I wanted to proceed. I need time to process the idea of having surgery.
