This used to be my favorite place to eat in Surf City. The food was great, servers friendly, and I loved the live music and atmosphere. I was there Saturday night-my first visit this summer and I was so disappointed. The service was horrible, along with the food. There was no live music. The guy seating tables looked like he hated his job. All the great things about this location are gone. Only friendly person in the place was the bartender. New management? Better make some changes if you want to stay in business.

Perfectly pleased with both the laid back eclectic island atmosphere AND my grilled flounder, hush puppies and slaw! Definitely recommend, that is unless you’re an uptight person who is always gonna complain, then do them a favor and stay away cause you’ll spoil the atmosphere!
The shrimp and scallops were awesome!!!!
Horrible. Stay away!!!! Our waitress forgot to place 2 of 8 orders. We had to wait an hour for the first round of food for 6 of us and the other two got their food 20 min later while most of us were done eating. The mixed drinks have almost no alcohol in them. I swear the liquor is watered down. I asked to have something taken off the bill and they refused. And to add salt in the wound they added a mandatory 18% tip because there were 8 of us. I asked to speak to the owner who never called me to discuss. Just plain horrible.
Terrible service! Waitress forgot to place one of the orders in our group. Then gave several different excuses as to why their order was not out yet. By the time it did come out, the rest of us were almost done. Alcohol drinks had almost no alcohol. Save your time and money and go elsewhere!
The crab legs were good and the atmosphere was great! Do yourself a favor and just get the crab legs and skip the sides. Plenty of food and the sides were pretty expensive for the quality.
Staff was friendly but not enough of them Had several different people trying to serve us Clam chowder great She crab was terrible Fried scallops tasted like they were old and had been refried Fried zucchini was good Hush puppies good
