Long wait with tables ready to use. Food was not that good. Very over priced. Same type of food at Applebee’s!! �
Ate there this past Friday night July 20th. The new menu and new management along with the FOOD Sucked......... one of the staff members told us the reason the hush puppies were so dark was they hadn't changed the oil in 2 weeks, That all the cooks keep walking out. 1 of us got a burger and it was this raw. My shrimp tasted spoiled. Dont waste ur time or money. We had a 20 minute wait to be seated and took us 45 minutes to get our food.
Good food
The food was terrific. We got a steamer for two that had snow crab, shrimp, clams, oysters, Kielbasa sausage, corn and potatoes. It was all really, really great. The atmosphere is great also in a super casual way. There are no windows, it's just a large screen in shack with a bar in the middle. And this theme suits what the restaurant represents - new frills great food. The service was a little off, though, but the food made up for it. We'd go back in a heart beat.
food served food in Styrofoam which was melted, at least food was hot. Small portion and was to expensive. Service not so great eithet.
Crab pot is an annual tradition it’s the best food on the island! Not air conditioned but the food is worth it!
We loved it. Everything was fresh made to order. Despite negative reviews we saw nothing mentioned about. Had fried dill pickles and hush puppies. Fried grouper, fantail shrimp and crab cake with French fries and slaw. Highly recommend. Laid back atmosphere. Just a little place.
My husband and I reside in Jacksonville,NC and travel the coast of North Carolina seeking restaurants and hidden treasures to experience. Yesterday we visited this beautiful treasure! The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was perfect, the breeze was unbelievable , the music was fitting and the food was perfectly “beachy chic”. We were so pleased with our visit and will be promoting it on our Facebook page and our blog. We really appreciate the simple complexity or your establishment!!! We will be back!!! Slow service. Food was not good. Took 45 minutes for hush puppies and an hour and a half for food. Wouldn’t have cared about the time if the food was good. Would not recommend not go back.
