I stopped by this crabhouse on a whim because my regular spot has been closed. From the outside, it looked closed. I walked in, and the young lady behind the counter was incredibly pleasant. The place was clean and did not have "that smell" that some crab houses have. The young lady (I'm sorry, I don't remember her name) advised me on sizes and prices. I bought crabs there about 3 weeks ago I only got 1/2 dozen because it hit or miss with them. I always ask them to make sure the crab are good, it was only 2 crabs that were eatable. I didn't bother to call the store this time because it's my fault for keep giving them chances to prove me wrong. I go there because its close to home. I hate driving all the way over east to get good crabs. This crab house was once a nice place. However, it has gone down tremendously in quality and customer service. I ordered a dozen of extra large crabs on Christmas Eve. I couldn’t get through 3 crabs because each crab that I ate was mushy like mashed potatoes. Just awful. I stopped trying after the first three bad crabs because at that point I had determined that I was going to request a refund. When I took the remaining crabs back. I was only refunded for 8 crabs. The crabs were not juicy but the seasoning was good but the crabs were over cooked
