I’ve placed two children through CPO. I have one closed adoption and one open. Although closed adoption isn’t something cpo ever intends to happen it does & it’s the adoptive families decision not the agency. My open adoption has been amazing every moment of the last 9 years. I came to this agency, years ago, for help with the know how of becoming a new mom and it ended in a complete nightmare of me having my child taken the second day that I had her all because of a baby doll named Gracie. This was completely ridiculous. This has caused long term harmful psychological effects to the child, me the mother, and all family and relationships that were connected to this situation.
