CPM was formed in 1955 by employees of the Charleston Paper Mill. We started in an old construction shed and our mission back then was to make affordable loans and deliver exceptional service to the employees of the Mill and improve their financial wellbeing.

I’ve been with CPM for years. I have no issues. Great Institution.
Been banking with CPM around 30 years. They wanted 2 years tax returns for a 3K loan. Too big of hassle for 3K.I'm looking for a new bank.
CPM is becoming a little outdated. We still don’t receive temporary cards, they’re not always helpful, and the app is very basic. Please update. At least with temporary cards. It’s 2020
I do not reccomend CPM. Have had accounts with them since 1973 and they have absolutely NO loyalty regardless of the size of your account or longevity! PLUS They Lie! said we could get our electronic info for any time when we went to their "E" statements but now they want to charge $5 for each statement per month! other banks have this information for much longer periods and NO Charge to get it! I love CPM! I have been a member since the early 2000s and have never had any problems. They will always be my number 1 choice for loans as well. Great rates and unbelievably easy and fast loan process/approval. I also love that you can call after regular banking hours for assistance with pretty much anything account related of course. Everyone is very kind and helpful!
