My daughter broke her finger this past Sunday. Went to urgent care that day, got a splint, and was told to follow up with a specialist the next day. Monday morning, went to pediatrician (was told we had to in order to get the referral) and he tells me her finger is fine and that the fracture missed the growth plate, to splint it for 1-2 weeks, then “stretch it out and see how she does”. My daughter was born this May and I randomly chose this office being new to the area. I will agree that there are times that I’ve waited a long time to be seen even with a scheduled appointment but the care I’ve received from Dr Eglen and Dr Aswad has been phenomenal. And their lactation specialist was beyond amazing! My husband and I picked this practice before we had our daughter, not knowing Dr Aswad would be the attending physician the day our daughter was born. He helped save my daughters life that day. We have our kids go here. Called yesterday afternoon at 4:30 and left a voicemail. 24 hours later and they still haven't returned our call. Not how you do business in healthcare.
