Cozy O's Italian Restaurant Is Wonderful! We live inland, but visit friends in the area frequently. We went over to Cozy O's and wonder why we haven't gone earlier! Wayne (who is the owner), and the food: terrific! Wayne knows how to welcome his guests. We had a great waitress (Kelly) who made us feel right at home. She is cheerful and makes you feel like you are not just "some customer." We watched the others too, and all the staff members looked like they really liked the customers too. Great Music and Better Food Being Italian and traveling to SC from Princeton for a week, I was looking for a simple, homemade, non-chain restaurant. Cozy O's had a warm environment with excellent food, fast and friendly service AND I just so happened to go in on their Jazz night. I read a review about Cozy O's using frozen eggplant but I know for a fact they they do not...who can? It is such a water filled vegetable, there's no good way to freeze it. quaint italian cafe Cozy O's is a quaint local Italian restaurant with signature dishes, thick zesty marinara sauces, and lively entertainment on weekends by a local bands. I can see why this is a popular restaurant for the locals. The service was good and the prices are very reasonable. It's a friendly and fun place to eat, relax, enjoy good conversation with strangers and the waitstaff. :) Oh and don't forget to try the calamari - tender, not tough like most restaurants.
BEST ITALIAN FOOD IN S.C. Being 100% ITALIAN I really have had THE BEST Italian food all my life. Eating dinner at Cozy O's was by far the very best I have ever enjoyed out! I usually do not eat Italian out, but, am i VERY GLAD I did. I just wish I could have found Cozy O's sooner. The service was 100%, the atmospher and the music, also. I would recommend Cozy O's to my family and friends and to anyone looking for the best Italian Meal in South Carolina.
