free hot breakfast, a mountain view, micro & fridge, & a few elk stopped by. this was our second visit & we plan to return! we had 2 bedrooms & everything was clean. beds were comfy & the shower pressure was good. friendly & incredibly helpful front desk gentleman. on our first visit we stayed in a room with a private balcony. those were sold out on this visit. we recommend booking ahead. thank you to our hosts for answering all of our elk questions. we really appreciate your hospitality. we can be a bit fussy regarding dama... read more

The 1st room they gave us was still dirty from the previous guest. The next room was decent, the hinge of the bathroom window was broken, half used roll of toilet paper on the toilet paper holder, hair in the shower drain. No blanket or coverlet on the bed, just a 2 fitted sheets and a thin blanket in between. They advertise a free continental breakfast, all they had was yogurt, coffee, and bad selection of cereal. The man who checked us in was very kind, accommodating. The negative reviews of this place confuse me. Good little room with a TV, fridge, and microwave. Room was at a good rate, what did you expect 5 star room service?! Wonderful location, my fiancé and I will be coming back. Haters begone!
