For any parent, your child getting sedation is a scary thing. My three-year-old needed a tonsillectomy and adenoid removal, and from arrival to 5 days later, it was the best experience I could hope for. The staff was kind and patient, and the nursing team was like an extended family. They were patient with my daughter and did everything to keep her comfortable from check-in to check-out. I give it a one star because the staff is good, but the care for patients who come out of surgery, is pretty bad. For major surgery they don't care for the pain. Giving a muscle relax pill and a hydrocodone, does not get it. You are suppose to get the patient to relax not give them discomfort and grief and more pain. Learn the medicine, not what you think of pills.
