I have become very disappointed in this group recently. My child had great care and communication from Dr. Kate and her medical assistant several years ago. Recently she is seeing someone different there about another health matter, and there is no communication and I can't seem to get anyone to answer the phone. Testing was ordered, processed, and sent to them. I cannot seem to get anyone to tell us what to do next! Maybe you have to be admitted to the hospital to warrant their attention.
They NEED a new FRONT DESK LADY ASAP! Never friendly never has a smile! Not very good at communication either! You would think that they'd be able to find someone that is at least approachable for parents and children. I went to Walmart to go give them my prescription and there were some numbers on the prescription that were wrong so I had the lady called the Cox location and she said the front desk lady was even rude to her! Great place to take your kids they truly care!
Nurse practitioner Leann Porter is amazing! She takes her time with our son every visit, thoroughly answering all of our questions and going above and beyond what is required of her. She talks TO our son, not just about him. He’s on the autism spectrum and has several other diagnoses. Many (most) of our neurologists in the past talk to us about our son during the appointment. We have been thrilled that neurologist James Collins is back in Springfield! He was our orginal neurologist and the one who found my daughter’s rare genetic condition. When he moved we chose to see a different neurologist and wow what a nightmare that was. Dr Collins is so kind and is willing to try different things to see what truly works best to control my daughter’s seizures. He takes time to actually talk things through and we never feel rushed or unheard. He’s even helped me in the struggle to get her IEP changed for be... read more
