I was scheduled for a surgery consult with Dr. Cardwell. The PA saw me instead. PA's don't do surgery. I have the possibility of having cancer and he couldn't even introduce himself to me. My surgery was put out 2 weeks even with the possibility of cancer. I'm an APRN and I know how unprofessional this is. I was never given an opportunity to ask questions, and this is not informed consent.
