I am writing this review to provide a balanced but frank assessment of our family's experiences. We have six family members under care here, and I am the primary contact for managing all medical records. Let me start with the significant positives: Dr. Main is an exceptional physician who provides thoughtful and thorough care. She is the standout reason we continue to use this clinic. I always have a great experience at this clinic. Jennifer Harp is a great provider, she listens and advocates for her patients. Her nurse Megan is a sweetheart and a pro at drawing blood!
I can only assume that there is a severe shortage of doctors in the area. Like another reviewer here, I was a patient of Dr. Detten at Steeplechase until he retired, fall of '24. Steeplechase informed me that they'd see me one last time and after that, I'd be on my own. After scouring the Cox website for doctors accepting new patients, I finally found one that I could see in seven months, next available would be 2026. Meanwhile I've developed an arrhythmia. Dr. Detten had been my Doctor for years. I thought he was great. He just retired after a medical leave. His patients are being told not one of the other Dr's. have openings. I thought Steeplechase was a good place but not so much now. I'm 73 yrs old and have to find another Dr. Pretty crappy way to treat patients
Dr. Stephen Newbold is one of the few Drs. I trust. He has the best staff,always! I'll be with him til I die or he retires 🤣🤣 Nuff Sed! 🤙
