Do not in your wildest dreams visit a Cox hospital. They will rip you off, over charge you and then send you to the collection agencies. I visited an urgent care, and I was billed for an emergency room visit. This was a big difference in the overall cost of the visit.
I was admitted into the adult psych ward about two years ago, and I gave glowing reviews over the phone because I was still struggling with my illnesses and didn't know what to say. I just agreed with the person over the phone. Really it was a terrible experience. I kept asking to see the doctor, but he was rarely in, and they didn't give me the right medication for my issues. Took my daughter last night because she needed an X-ray on her fingers because she broke one and literally found a roach and dried up blood on the floor and plastic pieces from other patients ABSOLUTELY disgusted the only thing that was great about the trip was no wait time on the waiting room and a girl named Megan that made my daughter a splint
The Cox Security staff seem jumpy and aggressive. I was at the ER with a friend whose son was a patient. The patient's sister and girlfriends were in the waiting room with me. As the patient was in triage he appeared to be having a seizure and both his sister and girlfriend cried out. Yes, there may have been an f bomb uttered.
