APU got me through a very dark time. Professional RN staff. Eye opening, but never want to go back.
Ive been here twice. I will do anything in my power to avoid going back. First of all, they threatened to take guardianship from my parents unless I was admitted to the ward after we refused many times because its CRAZY EXPENSIVE and the care is horrible. They didnt give me my medication that I actually needed, which caused me a lot if pain. They start you off in a room with a nurse, they make you change into their scrubs, they refused to give me the right size when I even showed them the clothes were way too small for me. E... read more
Friendly staff, fairly quick, better than a lot of psych wards, just poorly reviewed.
I went to the pediatric mental ward here and the staff were incredibly rude to me except for my nurse lara and a few others but while i was dealing with difficult issues the staff belittled me and even went as far as making fun of me. The worst person there was named mrs chris and she would yell and scream until I was crying and she made it a point that she did not like me because my issues were in her words "not that bad" she even told me she would see me again as i was leaving the unit.
