RecommendedWe had an amazing experience at Firelake! We are new “locals” and decided to drive to the tiki restaurant thats advertised on the parkway, I’m sure glad we did. They were extremely patient with my 4 year old who is loud and messy. & our server “shay” was awesome and extremely sweet. The food was great and affordable. Our 4 year old said this is his new favorite restaurant ever! We will surely be back soon!
The first thing that was disappointing was the menu. It’s not the same as what is shown on the Facebook page. Apparently the name is different too, but I don’t know how you would know this until you get there. We went to this restaurant specifically for crab legs but they aren’t on the menu now. We ordered an appetizer of chips and salsa. The chips were rubbery. You could literally bend them. Then we found a hair, looked like an animal hair, attached to one of the chips. One of the worst dinners I have ever had. Food wasn’t good, servers were rude, just an awful dinner experience. Don’t waste your time or money.
After a fantastic day on the water 6 of us went to this restaurant. Took four times to get my drink order right. They had poor service, were rude and not professional at all, terrible food, I highly recommend you go somewhere else!!! Terrible dining experience.
So very poorly run. Servers all said they were quitting last night. So chaotic. Such a shame. They need to sell it to someone that knows how to run a business
Thankful we saw the large sign advertising this place which is now called Fire Lake Grill. Fabulous view and great food! We had great service from Faith! We highly recommend and would definitely return if our vacation hadn't ended.
My husbands first time back since “Cowboys” and my first time ever. We walked into a huge line around 6:45 on a Saturday evening expecting a wait per usual for a decent restaurant especially on weekends. We started noticing lots of empty tables with staff kinda scrambling and the people in front of us had been there for about 20 minutes or so and hadn’t moved. I haven't been here since it was Cowboys back in 2004. Upon arrival it just seemed to be a lot of confusion and staff chasing their tails. It took about 8 minutes to be greeted and seated. Their staff is very young. Looks to be mostly teenagers and young adults. But because of that they are full of energy and eager to please, positive lightbulbs but very inexperienced of course.
