[EDIT] recently stopped by for a plate and the food was so bad I'm making a point to come back and remove four stars. it wasn't enough that they 86'd my precious roasted broccoli entirely, but they changed the mac and cheese so dramatically it went from something I'd crave night and day for weeks on end to something I never want to eat again a day in my life. I first ate at the original Cowboy Chicken on Shady Brook Ln near Park Ln in Dallas, Texas back in 1982. That's when I met Phil Sanders. He had a unique personality, and remembered all his regular customer's names. I ate there numerous times for several years. Good food. Wonderful memories. I have never actually been to this location but I did an on line delivery order today for a friend who had surgery. A couple of hours after I ordered I had to make a change so I called the store. A nice young man named Chandler helped me. He gladly, politely and efficiently made the change to my order. A few minutes later my friend wanted another change so I called again, embarrassed to be such a pain. Again, I got Chandler and this change pretty much meant he had to rewrite the whole order.
