Covino's the small suburban eatery has a great casual, urban feel catering to families and couples, as well as singles. There are great, traditional Italian surroundings and the atmosphere is quiet and romantic. BYOB is highly encouraged if you prefer wine with your meal. Covino's hearty dishes are perfectly executed. House favorites unckude Tortellini Alfredo, Shrimp Parmigiana and for dessert Cannoli. Pizzas and most entrees are available for takeout.

We like this place a lot really good pizza and Italian dishes. I like the baked Zitti the rest of my family usually get there pizza. We have never had a complain with the food. It does get a little busy and it is not a real big place
We just were here with some friends last week. Excellent food and had a really good time sitting outside. Not the best view in town from the patio but the food made up for it. This is really nice if you happen to be near Parker and Independence roads. Not the easiest place to find. It is tucked back in the corner of the shopping center so you may have to look for it.
Love this place! Basically a weekly favorite. You can sit outside or dine in. Great food... pizza, wings, and pasta!!!! And the best part, save on the bill by bringing your own wine!
Good place gone bad – I used to go to this place ALL the time. It has great food. I enjoyed the staff. One night I had an awful experience and vowed never to return. The tables are extremely close together. At the table next to me were 2 young men and a young woman. One of the men and the woman were obviously in lust with each other. She wore an extremely short dress and his hand was always up her thigh. The halter style top of the dress was always sagging and she was constantly pulling it up. Covino's is a family type place... read more
What a Place for Pizza and other Italian dishes – My husband and I have been enjoying this little family restaurant in Plano for well over 12 years now. We love the BYO concept since they do not have a liquor license. The staff is great, the owner is friendly, and the food expecially the pizza is great. Very small space and they fill up quickly. On weekends you will see tons of people on the patio waiting for their table. It could be 1 hr wait . but worth it.
Great food, great service – Our first time to go to Covino's and we'll be going back again and again! We had the Joe's special Pizza as an appetizer - all the ingredients were fresh and the crust was great! The meatballs on the pizza were so good. I bet that would be an excellent pizza topping for next time. I can't wait to try the calamari next time. It looked awesome. BYOB - can't beat that. Also had Chicken Picatta that was fresh and a large portion. The lasagna was also excellent. They have a rosemary complementary bread... read more
Little Italy in Plano – I am not Italian, butI grew up in New York which is the home of great pizza and Covino's meets the challenge. Aside from great pizza you can byob and enjoy the surroundings in this "Little Italy" restaurant. I love it when Big Joe is there he lends to the authenticity. When he is not there it is not the same. The Abruzzi bread, Pizza and lasagne top my list as well as their signature chicken dish. Which is not on the menu. Go figure? I really enjoy the atmosphere. The last time we were there a group o... read more
Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors – Popular Plano B.Y.O.B. Italian restaurant is known for New York and Chicago deep-dish pizzas, plus pastas and more.
Best Pizza! – The crust was amazing! And service was so fast even though the restaurant was packed. There is no beer/wine list but you can bring your own bottle for $1/person corking fee. Saw lots of people around us with their bottles of wine, will definitely have to remember to bring one next time!
