I requested a warranty item when a roofer hit a water line in my roof. It is out of code compliance because it is too close to the roof. Per the San Marcos compliance officer, they should've put a metal plate there. Coventry is denying my warrenty claim because I have been in my house past the 2yr warranty period & it passed inspection for them. Do not build with this company. Immediately upon moving in to a newly built home, someone placed a rock in the shower drain. The shower flooded. They tried to cheat and put a coil too stove in rather than a glass top range. The door to the garage was not framed in correctly and the fort was loose in the wall. Now we, after 15 yrs, have found they did not use treated lumber in our outdoor pillars on the front porch and the pillars are rotting ( they hold up the upstairs balcony).
