Really great hotel near the KSC. Jason at the pool bar made great drinks. Didn’t love the upstairs restaurant but great views and that’s a separate review. Room surprisingly wasn’t cleaned on Saturday but it was fine. Would have liked the option of view. Plenty of parking. Great front desk. Fast Starbucks window. Big workout room.
This hotel is a really fun place to take the family for a rocket launch. It’s right on the water with a great view toward the launch area, and the rooms have a modern, space-themed design that fits the location well. That said, I wouldn’t stay at Marriott again after this. They seem to have gone downhill and have no quality control for how they treat guests. Rooms are luck of the draw. The first room was dirty. I absolutely disagree with this location’s policy on the additional person fee. It is not a Courtyard Policy and location dependent. This location charged me an additional $20 for my two children (4 total within the room) to stay in my room that is rated by their standards for 4 people. I was told the charge is for house cleaning and the number of towels that would get used.This is another way for these companies upcharge you for no additional service.
Location was AMAZING. Our room faced the ocean and we watched the sun rise from the balcony.
