Room was clean but overall hotel needs work. One of two elevators were not working, so the wait times were long especially with high traffic areas. Large groups stayed that weekend, presumably sports teams. This is about 30 minutes outside San Diego proper, so the parking was only $35 as opposed to $70 per night. Sweet ladies doing breakfast service made me an outstanding Cafe latte and avocado toast breakfast. Small pool but a nice walking trail. Not bad for the rate but definitely a drive to the city.

This has got to be one of the worst Marriott’s I’ve ever stayed at and I’ve stayed at them across every continent. You’ll immediately question whether you’ve accidentally booked a stay at a Super 8. Poor guest services, outdated rooms, weak amenities. Stay elsewhere.

A very outdated room and a non enjoyable stay at the Courtyard Rancho Bernardo. Despite being a Platinum member, the staff decided to stick us in a room where I can’t open my blinds because it the same level as the parking lot so Im sitting in my room the whole day in the dark. The room also lack amenities - there is no complimentary water included in the stay. We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Rancho Bernardo with our friends, and overall, we had a very pleasant experience. The staff kindly accommodated our request for an earlier check-in, which we really appreciated. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the two queen-size beds were especially comfortable.
