I’m a loyal Marriott customer and this was THE worst hotel experience I have ever had. I was placed in a room on the ground floor which my profile explicitly says high floor preference. The room was dirty and obviously needed to be updated. I heard the people above me the entire night. I specifically requested a late check out because my daughter was in a pageant the next day. Evan at the bistro in the Marriott was absolutely amazing and prompt! The food here is amazing! 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend to anyone staying at this location.
Apparently car break-ins are common here. At least that's what the police told me after I got a 4:20 AM wake up call that they wanted to discuss my vehicle with me. Four vehicles had smashed out windows.
I do not usually post about bad experiences. I am also a loyal Marriott customer. This Courtyard was the worst I have experienced. The wallpaper was falling off of the walls. There were water stains on the ceiling, doors missing from cabinets, mold in the windows, spilled food in a chair, stains all over the same chair, cushions instead of headboards, someone's jacket left in the closet, stains in the tub basin, and the bathroom door was rotting on the bottom. When I first checked in, the TV was not working and there was no hand soap. I fixed both issues, but that shouldn’t be an issue when you show up. All in all, the stay was comfortable and no issues afterwards.
