It was an ok marriott. Water pressure was lacking for sure. Bistro is a no go and closed Tuesday and Wednesday during my time there. Bistro was only open for breakfast and all food was just packaged. Parking was a nice with the valet. Spend the extra on the parking. Everything is walkable. Avoid the mall its a ghost town with a few shops open and many businesses are closed up.
When Marriott's Autograph Collection hotel in Norfolk was booked solid, I booked Courtyard Marriott as a back up because I've had good experiences with them in the past. To say this the exact opposite of all of my Marriott stays (I'm a brand loyalist) would be an understatement. I'm surprised Marriott even wants to lend its brand name to this hotel. Super gelegen, alles zu Fuss erreichbar! Freundliche Mitarbeitende. Die Zimmer sind leider nicht gepflegt, dreckiger Teppich, viele Schwachstellen. Das Bett war aber gut für eine Nacht. Wer nicht heikel ist, gute Preisleistung. Sonst besser ein anderes Hotel buchen.
This Marriott does not meet the standards I would expect from a Marriott property. Staff is nice but property needs updating. It's old and should be cleaned up and brought to a little more modern standard. Some small improvements would go a long way in making a stay here more pleasant.
