As a Marriott Gold Elite member, I was extremely disappointed with my stay at the Courtyard Waukegan Gurnee. The biggest issue occurred at checkout when I was charged a pet fee for my two service animals. When I informed the front desk associate that service animals are not pets and are protected under the ADA, instead of simply removing the charge, I was given a hard time and had to argue to have the fee removed.
