Hotel is in a great location. Staff, especially the front desk personnel are extremely professional and very helpful with giving out suggestions on places to go in the area. The rooms were very clean and modern. We will definitely return for a longer stay in the near future.
This visit was just to eat in the bistro and enjoy the lounge space after a busy work week. The chef makes excellent sandwiches. I had albacore tuna on croissant with flavorful tomato slices. Nice selection of wine too.
The service was wonderful. I just loved my room and wish I had booked to nights. Only thing they forgot was to put in my wake up call to get up in time for my friends wedding. I had gotten in so late and needed that call so I didn't have to rush. But my experience there was a plus to over look that. The young lady apologize and I was OK.
Arrived after a long day with my father in emergency surgery. We got bumped out of our room that we had reserved for weeks. Manager wasn't even nice about it. We were told the hotel they moved us to had a king size bed like the one we had reserved...got here only queen beds.
Our experience at Courtyard Alexandria was wonderful! I think mostly due to the "Erica experience". This hotel is not a 5 star hotel, but we knew that when we booked it...but Erica made it 5 star, because anything we needed she fixed. For example there was an outlet not working, she sent up engineer with extension cord. Fixed. Couldn't open sliding glass door, sent up engineer, who got there before we did! Found a cockroach in the bathroom. I stayed down here with my sister for 4 day vacation and had the unfortunate experience of finding a roach in their bathroom at 4am. We refused to stay in room and was unable to sleep. We reported it to overnight auditor staff. They claimed they never had roaches in their hotel, which is a lie. However, we took photos of it as proof to show them. As a result, my sister and I requested to be moved.
