We recently bought and closed on a house. The sellers were represented by George Woolston. George selected Cathy Moreno with Chicago Title which was a nightmare. She appeared to have never worked with buyers that had a trust. Completely incompetent. We didn't close on the scheduled Friday like we were supposed to. However, the sellers (his clients) were at the final walk through (even though they shouldn't have been) and gave us keys, garage door openers, and gave possession of the house to us anyways (since everything was done and it was just a matter of recording with the state). I had painters in on Saturday (not to paint, just prep) and George stopped by the house, threw a tantrum, and kicked them out. Everything has been a nightmare since. We have had to reschedule contractors and put off moving because of George. There's a good chance we will have to move over Thanksgiving weekend now. Not to mention that he advised his clients not to take an offer on the house that was $30k more than ours. Yikes!! If you want to loose money and be super inconvenienced, then George is your guy!! Did I mention that we walked into a huge kitchen leak flooding the kitchen on the Monday we closed?! Seems like George wanted us out of the house so we wouldn't find out, but not to worry, the sellers insurance will be paying regardless 😉

Business Response:

You have no rights to possession prior to recording. Any agent would of had a problem with a buyer doing work on a house they don't own. Oh my goodness!
