Had breakfast there during Dad's weekend on Sunday. Very busy, they only had two waitresses that weren't real efficient, though we waited less than 30 minutes. By the time we were seated, four were working. The two that came in later had a lot more hustle than the first two waitresses and the kitchen staff was jobbin it. Just went here today and have been here before but today our server didn't have the greatest attitude towards us. The food was great like the last time but my boyfriend and I did not feel like our server deserved a tip because of how she was and as we left she came out the door and said "If you can't afford to tip then don't eat out." I found that extremely rude because we do have money. Our server has to earn a tip and she didn't do that. Anywhere else we usually tip if they are good to us just not today. Hi Kayla. My husband and I own the Diner. We live out of town but I try to keep up with Facebook myself. I am so sorry for your experience. Please be assured that we were appalled when we read your post. Today (Monday) we needed to be at one of our other places but will be in Athens to take care of this tomorrow. This behavior is not the norm for us and we apologize for this negative experience. If you one day miss the good food, I hope you will consider giving one of our other servers a chance.
We accidentally got off at this exit and we were glad we did! We drove passed the diner and that was it. Found parking, walked to dinner, sassy down and enjoyed breakfast. It was delicious! My daughter and I got shakes to go! The staff was friendly. I would definitely go back.
This was awful! Ordered dessert first as if never done before, the waitress ignored me when I ordered a sandwich and even asked to have the meat from my daughters on mine. The waitress said I can put on plate, I said what ever is easier. I did not get my sandwich and fries until my daughter had finished and of course the meat was Cold. Oh dessert how was it frozen! Left no tip, she had to even be asked for a refill of our water. she should not be a waitress!!!

Never had a disappointing meal. I like my eggs over medium and usually have to send them back several times, but NOT here. Done to perfection. Hash browns are great. Servicers are polite and wonderful. However, when there is an event at OU the service is understanably slow due to the tremendous popularity of this diner. This is to be expected as the diner isn't large. IT'S A DINER. Just relax, sit back, and enjoy.

To the manager - why are you always turning customers away at 60 minutes before you close? If you post that customers will not be seated when it's 1 hr. til close we would be forewarned. Just seems as though your staff doesn't want business:( this has happened several times. #donewithcourtstdiner
Great food...classic diner ambiance...a must stop when you visit Athens...
