AIMCO's standards are nonexistent and they do not take care of their communities or tenants. I have dealt with flooding, break ins and robbery, broken down elevators for weeks, and days without utilities or compensation for an uninhabitable apartment. They have broken their lease terms 16 times, I have evidence of each occasion. Yet when called on their contradictions, they are defensive and hostile. If I could leave zero stars I would. It has been over 30 days since I moved out and have not received my security deposit. They sent it to the wrong address even though I called in and told them to correct it. Now I still dont have my funds, they want me to sign and affidavit for a check they didn't send to me. I moved into Stonecreek club apartment Homes, Germantown, Maryland, managed by Aimco in October 2017. The move-in process was smooth and anytime I request for maintenance service, they swing into action with the speed of light.
I’ve been living at this complex with my husband for the last few months and this place is really a joke. First off, the manager reginald gave us 2 options. Either we get rid of our dog that we’ve had since she was a 6 weeks old or put a bark collar on her. She’s a dog, meaning she’s gonna bark. This place claims to be the most pet friendly apartment complex around, which is not true at all. Secondly, our neighbor downstairs is really trashy. Villa Norte' Apts, 1620 Fullerton St., Shreveport, La.71107___after repeatedly requesting (since June/2017) the kitchen oven be fixed/replaced, towel racks installed, & thermostat's broken the problems still exist w/only 1(one) rent adjustment of $30.00 has been done.
