My husband and I found ourselves at Countryside on NYE for our first visit. We sat in the enclosed porch area by the fireplace and Christmas tree. Very cozy and a warm and friendly atmosphere. We ordered the deluxe pizza which was good, although the crust was a bit thinner than what I am used to-still, very tasty toppings. We'll be back for the burgers as my best friend said they're awesome and to catch more live music....oh, and the Friday Night Fish Fry-gotta try that.
We'll never bother coming back! We were seated promptly, got our drinks, then it went downhill. The server fought with me about what came with my order, very rude. I showed her the menu, I was told that my meal was only 9.95, so it didn't come with. The server went to get the owner, who couldn't be bothered to come to our table. She did offer to give me the items the menu stated came with the meal, but by that time I had finished eating. The food was mediocre. It is a go bar to go to since it is close to everything
Just moved into the neighborhood. Great first experience. Really enjoyed ourselves.
