I would never recommend anyone due business with country place mortgage. They will give you the run around and each time you call you will be given different information. There is a high turnover rate with their employees. The escrow department will not accept calls, like most of the departments they require you email them for questions. You will not be satisfied with the response you get. You will be given a bare minimum response. I was required to pay my yearly property taxes in October of 2023 in order to move my home, I... read more

Stay away from this place. They are horrible. Last year they approved me for a loan. That was the quickest part they got done. From that point on it was nothing but dragging feet. They even lost my file at one point. Toby Cooksy would not return my phone calls. Would not answer my emails that I sent asking questions that I wanted answers to. Was supposed to close in April and it did not happen due to them dragging their feet. The lady I was getting the property from agreed to a land extesnion deal and was supposed to hav... read more

Country Place Mortgage customer service needs major improvement the people they have working for them are losing customers and wasting people's time. They wasted my parent's time with ridiculous requests just to get a small loan for the module home they were purchasing. After 2 weeks of nonsense, my parents went elsewhere. Thankfully they did go elsewhere the New bank my parents used approved them without the ridiculous request within a few days and at a much better rate.

We purchased our manufactured home through CountryPlaceMortgage and Toby Cooksey was our loan officer. He was very helpful and honest with all our questions we asked. He worked very hard helping us get the best lowest percentage rate at the time. He took time to explain things that we asked. I would recommend Toby to everyone. Professional but also down to earth and understands budget needs.

I was a customer for 10 years. Upon paying off the mortgage customer service was horrible. The lien release people never responded to emails for updates or confirmation. Some CS were polite but no answer. My buyer's spouse is dying and I have asked multiple times for the release since early February.

This is the most horrible loan experience I have ever encountered. I went through the loan officer of Lonn Anderson. He is evil. I mean no respect. Never returns calls or emails and blames everyone around him for his mistakes. My family tried to apply for a loan with him last year. After emailing and calling him over a dozen times we finally gave up. This company is so bad. Do your research on them. I DO NOT RECCOMEND CountryPlace. And Lonn Anderson should be terminated.

My loan was paid off months ago. I have been trying to get assistance since December 14th to locale a large sum of missing escrow funds. I have tried multiple emails to escrow dept., etc and called eight times as well. Did finally speak with an alleged customer service rep who says she was trying to help my locate the funds with the escrow dept. but that was over a week ago and never heard back. It appears that Counrtyplace is trying to steal my money. I would rate lower than 1 star but the system wont allow for it.

We just closed on our home in Florida and Lonn Anderson was our loan officer. From beginning to end he helped us every step of the way through the entire process. He is very personable and easy to talk to even when issues with the Seller & Realtor became contentious, he was the voice of reason. He was quick to respond either by email, phone or text. We are so impressed by his business ethics and conduct. We highly recommend anyone buying a home in Florida to contact Lonn Anderson at Countryplace Mortgage!
