the staff is so friendly and comforting. They helped with my little puppy during an emergency and made sure that all my questions were answered. they stayed true to their word and called me the next day to check on my pup. They definitely make you feel like family.
CVAH is a warm and inviting atmosphere for your pet and yourself to enter. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Not only Ford everyone take care of your pet, but they also center on you and your questions/concerns. I’m glad I chose CVAH for my pet!
Our sweet girl Bailey has been a patient at CVAH for the last 11 years and we always experienced great care. We lost our Bailey this past week and Dr James could not have been more compassionate, empathetic, or guided us better. It was the most difficult decision we have ever made, and I truly don’t believe we could have given Bailey the the peaceful ending she deserved without the help of Dr James. If we ever decide to get another dog we will certainly be continuing to use CVAH.
I have been bring my Pulis to CVAH for 15-16 years. I wanted to share photos of their patient, my dog Parker who was Best of Breed at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show AND got to strut his stuff at Madison Square Garden!

One of my dogs went in for her annual check up on a Monday and by Thursday she could hardly move and wasn't barking, which is her favorite hobby. CVAH got her an appointment first thing Friday morning and blood work showed her platelets were dangerously low. She was put on a steroid and antibiotic which started to perk her up by the afternoon. She's now on regular re-checks to monitor that her platelet count continues to rise. The cause still isn't fully known, but she's getting better which is the important part. Dr. Beck a... read more
They have been good but their lack of honesty about a medications side effects and use of a drug might have cost us our dog's life. We brought him in because he wasn't able to poop.. only had diarrhea, and they gave him an anti-nausea shot. I asked if the shot had any side effects and they said no, but later saw that the shot does have side effects. My dog started to drool and become drowsy.. he could hardly walk.
