Wanted to talk to someone by phone about an exchange from an on-line purchase. Rang 8 times in a 30 minute time slot almost an hour after they opened and yet noone picked up. Not even a "can you hold please". Obviously they make so much money they can refuse to answer phones??

Walked into the store at 4:40 on Christmas Eve not realising the store closed at 4:30 - not a problem for the staff working, happily serving me at the counter to purchase a bag I had been thinking about for days after seeing it in store! Was only there for about 2 minutes total but the friendliness of the staff despite it being Christmas Eve and past closing time was amazing! My receipt says I was served by Priscilla so thank you Priscilla for your kindness and also to your coworker!

I had a wonderful experience today with the young lady wearing glasses💙—she served me just 15 minutes before closing and was still so helpful and enthusiastic. I’d love to shop here more often if Garden City had the same variety as Country Road Indooroopilly and Chermside. When I can’t find what I need at Country Road Carindale, Garden City is the next closest store for me.

I was in the store last week when I was looking for a gift for my wife, I was looked after by a lovely person who I later found out was the manager of the store. Vanja showed me some gifting opportunities and I settled for a few Country road mugs and tea towels. I also walked out of the store with more than I expected. I ended up buying for future birthdays just due to Vanja showing me the range and giving me ideas. Thanks for the great customer service. I will be back.

I heard somewhere that the online experience at Country Road was frustrating. The in-store experience was not, even though the two ladies helping customers were busy. I was very happy with the beautiful beige linen pants but am saddeded that I will at some time have to take them off. They breathe so beautifully that I in fact had to check that they hadn't fallen down as I was walking to the car. No, they were just that good. I am coming back next week for a couple of linen shirts.
