Great find – I was too tired to drive after driving back to Iowa from my sister's in Indiana, and saw this place off of the expressway. I love Country Inns and this one is reliable for the brand. The receptionist was extremely friendly. She went out of her way to make restaurant suggestions since I didn't want to drive too far. The only negative thing is it doesn't look very modern. I think they need to get away from the antique roadshow furniture and carpeting. Otherwise, great hotel.
Deceptive Practices – The Hotel charges you for Suite rooms that are not actual Suites?? The Suite room we had was really a studio with only ONE TV. People with us had the same price with a room twice the size and 2 TV's. I'm okay with it if you are being upfront but to do it and try to hide the fact is not right!! In addition, when you got questioned about it the proper answer is not, Yeah I KNow What You Mean?? If you do then why would you not charge a discounted rate for that room? Offer something?
