Love the atmosphere, the old fashion feel. The employees have all been very kind and considerate. I was able to check in about 2 hours early without an issue. The continental breakfast was alright, nothing special, but still nice. This was my and my son's second or third time here and next time we want to get away, we will be back!
A lovely lady named Leah works at the front desk. She is so nice and so friendly. We had my daughters birthday party here and she made it extra special with a hand made sign. We will absolutely come back. Every one we encountered was so nice and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy.
If you came over here from the review from Comfort Inn here's what I have to say about this hotel. Superb! After our unfortunate encounter with Comfort Inn, Maddi(who is absolutely amazing!) listened to our dilemma me knowing full well that she did not have to do anything to help a competitors employee out. She too felt that their decision was questionable but also offered a reduced rate since we would have to pay full price anyway. Very clean, beds were very soft, and pillows..my bed sunk in middle a little. Overall thou the people were nice, quite, clean, nice pool and hot tub, and bfast was very yummy. Love how clean our room was, no bed bugs! I would come back!
We have been staying here on an average of once a month for 11 years. We come to visit our grand daughter. Everyone here is so friendly. Love how they treat us like "family ". When Matty was little, she told her Chicago relatives,"My Mama & Papa own a house in KC and a hotel here." What a great hotel to own. Lol.
